Here’s another lewk from my Cadillac Championship shoot at Trump National Doral. The theme was “Miami at night” and I was inspired by March’s black tie gala season, so I felt like a golden, to-the-floor Missoni gown was right on the money.
As you all know, I have a reality TV “problem” (I mean, what mother in their late 30s doesn’t? Duh.) and blame the flashy Shahs of Sunset cast for my orphic obsession with all-things gold these days (thus the gold gown choice here). Speaking of the plushy Persian peeps behind the hit show, my friend and Real Housewife of Miami star Marysol Patton threw a chi chi von fancy birthday party last night at freshly minted 1826 Collins Avenue where I ate dinner with and chatted up Bravo-lebrities Reza Farahan, Mercedes “MJ” Javid, Countess LuAnn De Lesseps, Fredrik Eklund, Lisa Hoschstein and the super sweet Wakile Family.
Upon meeting some of them (okay, Reza and MJ), I basically confessed to each of them — LIKE A TOTAL LOSER WITH TOO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS — that I’m their real-life best friend but they just didn’t know it. Yet. As in, I’m convinced we could casually hang out and get chummy over a pot of tadig and a caraffe brimming with Diamond Water with them on the regular. They, in return, looked at me as though I was the reincarnation of Michael Jackson and I can’t blame them for their befuddlement. If they had security, I’m certain they would’ve had them escort my tan ass out the front door — and with good reason. I mean, I can come off like a complete sociopath. Sometimes I feel as though Hannibal Lecter exudes more social graces than me.
But bible, all were extremely gregarious and kind and I even managed to “victory kick” alongside the fab Fredrik who’s husband, Derek, is really, really ridiculously good looking.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I die. You went?! I was at 1826 on Thursday night and their publicist was talking about the party at the bar sitting next to me. I spent the entire night trying to figure out how to talk myself onto the guest list – but no luck! ha. Looked like a good time!
