I was recently scouring the racks at Neiman Marcus Coral Gables and stumbled into this new brand, Alémais. The vibe feels very Zimmermann but edgier. After ooh-ing and ah-ing over a spate of their pieces, I went home with the fit in the picture above (on sale, no less!). Always curious about the faces behind the labels I wear (plus, the journalist in me wanted to know more about the house) I googled the brand. Turns out, Alémais is designed by Lesleigh Jermanus and based in Australia.
Jermanus, a former head designer at Zimmermann (called that connection!), founded Alémais in August 2020 and even won the Australia’s National Designer Award last July. So definitely keep an eye for this label — the aesthetic is positively Miami… colorful, airy and fun!
I just discovered this brand also and I am in love! I bought a dress at Nordstrom and I have worn it to several events. This looks beautiful on you!
