Last week, Miami hosted a spate of events (Wine, Women & Shoes and Veuve Clicqout carnival) and pictured here is the lovely and intimate Vacheron Constantin luncheon at the PAMM. There, we celebrated the luxe Swiss watchmaker’s freshly minted fifth store in the U.S. — now located in the de rigueur Design District.

As for my look du jour, I wore a leather shift dress paired with a crisp white blouse and patent leather loafers. Yes, the whole getup was rather Pilgrim-esque (just call me Maria from the Mayflower), but I love a classic and clean black-and-white look.

As for those bling-heeled shoes, my mama (God bless her fine sartorial sensibilities. And extraordinary cooking skills. And free babysitting services.) bought them for me on her recent trip to London. They’re such a fun twist on a classic, right? Thanks, mama. Keep the Miu Miu swag coming. I kid! Okay, not really.

After all the week’s shenanigans (I’m quite certain I guzzled enough champagne to kill a mini horse. Or sixteen.)… I’M SPENT. Like, dead-zo. Like Walking Dead zombie-esque. Which reminds me…it premieres tonight and I’m so looking forward to curling up on the couch with the husband to tune in. Tack on the fact Better Call Saul premieres tonight and it suddenly feels like Christmas up in here!

Personally, I call this the Catholic prep school chic uniform…you know, cause you’re showing leg and all…and we all know the Pilgrims were semi-prudes but them Catholic girls… 😉
LOVE the shoes….bummed their sold out!
These are fun and easy to incorporate into my daily “chasing a toddler” activities.
That picture of you ladies is beautiful!
    XOXO

Very French! I love looks such as these (which explains my obsession with a Peter Pan collar). Anyway, your Chanel bag would clearly be too much style for the Mayflower!
