Here’s another lewk from the ELLE Decor shoot. This was snapped in le budoir which happened to be one of my favorite rooms in the entire home because:

1) Zebra ANYTHING makes more excited than the prospect of a Shahs of Sunset marathon.

2) Grey, when paired with yellow, is boss. And refreshing.

3) Mid-century modern furniture — like that Bertoia table — is cooler than a polar bear’s toenails.

I chose to rock a black-on-black street-inspired look for this busy room in the shape of a STYLESTALKER dress and Isabel Marant Bekkets. I’m squeezing in a few last wears in my wedge sneakers because I predict the trend will die I grisly death in 2014. As for the dress, it’s an easy LBD and I find the mesh stripes along the fitted sleeves and waist rather offbeat and funky. And I adore a notched hem — they always give good leg!
