A couple of years ago, I gave laser hair removal a try (because we Greek chicks are hairy MoFos) but the sheer pain and torture of the process — I swear I saw stars and flinched in agony whenever I got zapped! —  had me quitting in defeat after the third session. What a wuss, I know.

So when the folks at DermaClinic Laser (located at 175 S.W. 7th Street, Suite 1708, Downtown Miami) reached out and offered me complimentary laser hair removal sessions, well, I almost replied with an honest “Thanks, but torture isn’t my sorta thing” response. But when I read that this particular machine, the Alma Soprano Ice Laser offers pain free (yes, zero suffering!) and effective results, I was all like, “This may be the greatest thing since the invention of Joy Mangano huggable hangers.”

As you can expect, I walked into my first appointment with much trepidation (my mama taught me to never believe everything I read). So when I stripped down to my lace Hanky Pankies and the laser hit my skin, well, I squealed in sheer delight — because it didn’t hurt a smidge! And yes, I already see that my hair is growing back waaaaaaay more slowly as results are visible from the first treatment with a reduction of 60% of the hair, and in 6 to 10 sessions at intervals of 30 days, your hair will be permanently removed.

VICTORY IS OURS, MY FELLOW HAIRY PEOPLE!

And here’s the good news for you: Mention my name (TheWordyGirl.com) when booking your first DermaClinic Laser appointment (call  (786) 539-4905) and you will receive one FREE laser hair removal session so you can try the virtually pain-free machine.

Happy Holidays!

Amazing, I wonder how their lasers work on dark hair / dark skin. Someone recently emailed me offering complimentary laser removal…I’m nervous.

I’ve thought about getting laser hair removal but like you didn’t want to be tortured. LOL. Good to know it can be done painlessly.
