Have the last few months felt like the chrysalis stage of a butterfly OR WHAT? I know I felt a profound sense of extreme confinement and discomfort at times. However, a beautiful butterfly ALWAYS emerges from their cocoon so remember that. Call it “growth” or “change,” it’s the transformative stuff we learn from to better ourselves.
So, yes, I feel as though after all the recent unrest, life feels like it’s slooooowly returning to a new normal. With this said, I want to get back to blogging about things I love so I wanted to start off with a new-ish brand I love, La Ligne New York. This silky leopard print dress photographed here will be a staple in my summer wardrobe because of its animal print, lightweight fabric, tie-top straps and smocked top (read: no bra necessary for us smaller chested gals!). And did I mention it has pockets?
The trio behind La Ligne are former Vogue editors Valerie Macaulay and Meredith Melling, and Molly Howard, rag & bone’s former head of business development. I love the brand’s timeless aesthetic and love of deliciously soft fabrics. Many of my friends swear by their yummy-to-the-touch pajamas, too.
