When it comes to tinted moisturizers, my go-to are as follows: Elta MD, Alastin and It Cosmetics. But at the nudge of my gal pals Annhy and Netty, I was influenced to buy Ilia‘s tinted SPF 40 ($46). I ordered the shade called Matira ST11.

In fact, the serum is the brand’s best-selling product and it’s like having a foundation, serum and sunscreen in one.
First of all, Ilia is a clean beauty brand — free of toxins and hormone disruptors. Secondly, the texture (I am a BIG texture person) of this product is spot-on. Creamy, light-weight and it glides right on the skin. I like to use a damp Beauty Blender (always damp!) to apply mine but you can simply use your fingertips, too.
Now let’s talk what’s inside that dropper. The innovative formula combines three products into one step: A lightweight foundation, mineral SPF 40, and a smoothing, brightening serum. Personally, I love that Ilia mixes skincare with a complexion-enhancing product. Genius.
The end result? The perfect no-makeup makeup look. Goals!
