As odd as it may seem, I’ve just recently started embracing the color black.

I blame my quarter life crisis.

Yes, I’m usually the girl in the room wearing the little pink/blue/white dress amidst an endless sea of LBDs. But like I said earlier,  I’ve warmed up to doom-and-gloom black, too. It’s slimming, it’s easy and it’s always in style. Perhaps those eternally-in-noir New Yorkers are on to something on this score.

This summer, I discovered made-in-Bali designer Indah and this is just another easy piece from their collection. I adore the sexy open back, fringe details, adjustable shoulder straps — and the notion that I can toss it in a suitcase and it can transition easily into day or night use is an added bonus. Especially since I’m traveling so much in the upcoming weeks.

So consider this gem my go-to LBJ (little black jumpsuit).
