In case you haven’t gotten the memo yet (and trust me, I miss memos all the time — namely ones from the husband): Skulls, spikes and fuchsia lips are totally having a moment right now. I’m loving this one-of-a-kind ombre denim vest tricked out with skulls and spikes from Miami-based website Sincerely ALC ($59). And here I am rocking my new lipstick du jour — the perfect hot pink by YSL.

I can throw this vest over any schleppy sundress and BAM!, a maj dose of edge is added. As for my my newfound obsession with fuchsia lips, well, the husband reports it’s a tad “clownish” but I’m so not getting that memo. Duh.
