The Wordy Girl Takes Sirius XM with The Wharton School!

Sirius

I live for Sirius XM  — so when Sirius XM’s Business Channel helmed by The Wharton School’s  Professor Barbara Kahn reached out to interview me…I basically fainted. And cried. And followed said dramatics by buying myself a new pair of Manolo Blahnik D’Orsay flats, obviously.

Turns out, Professor Kahn — who serves as the Patty and Jay H. Baker Professor of Marketing and the Director of the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center at The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania heard about my blog through her daughter who happens to be a reader (thanks, Alyssa!). What piqued Kahn’s interest in me, particularly, was how I managed to profit from my blog, how bloggers affect the fashion world, and how Social Media is a game changer in the marketing realm. In other words, she wanted to pick my brain and educate listeners on the ever-changing face of retail.

Without further ado, here’s my loooong interview on Sirius XM. Thank you, Professor Kahn, for having me — it was an absolute honor to see my name right up there next to The Wharton School and Sirius XM.

Gratitude.
