Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Restylane® Lyft and Restylane® Silk. However, the thoughts and opinions are my own.

While aging has done wonders for my mind (I’m far more confident and wiser these days!), it hasn’t taken too kindly to my face (I blame my affinity for lounging under the blistering sun). But if there’s anything I learned from watching The Martian (you know, the flick where Matt Damon impossibly grows potato crops on Mars and survives whereas I would have offed myself on day one), it’s this truth: Every problem has a solution.

So my “problem”? Droopy cheek bones and deep nasolabial folds (I know, such a gross word, who comes up with this terminology to describe laugh lines?). As we get older, our skin’s collagen production goes South (much like the direction of our boobs), which in turn, causes less firmness and suppleness.

This negative characteristic therein causes boundless bouts of self loathing because the only living creatures in which droopy/wrinkly skin looks cute on are basset hounds and Shar Peis. Believe that.

The solution? Restylane® Lyft injections which naturally add volume to my cheeks and soften laugh lines. For those of you who crave plumper lips, there’s and Restylane® Silk. And what I like most about Restylane is that it’s specifically formulated to act like your body’s own hyaluronic acid, and eventually breaks down naturally. (Read: No clumpy/bumpy mess once the body has absorbed it.)

For my quickie procedure, I went to fellow Ransom Everglades alum, Doctor Joely Kaufman (photographed below) from Skin Associates of South Florida in Coral Gables, Florida (their digits are (305) 443-6606) for my Restylane injections and am THRILLED WITH THE RESULTS!

Hello, apple cheeks!
