{And BAM! reflective with a camera flash!}

I’ve always had a penchant for the ridiculously ridiculous so it’s no small wonder my younger cousin gifted me this Cole Haan reflective clutch this past Christmas.

So while the purse is pink by natural light (see first pic), the moment a camera or iPhone’s flash is deployed — BAM! — this shit lights up like a glow stick at Ultra (see second photo if you don’t believe dat). I mean, how dope is that? That was a rhetorical question, obvi.

But there’s a caveat: Owning this clutch will make you that super duper annoying chick at the party pestering everyone to take a picture of her with their flash. This was me last week — imploring everyone to snap a picture of me with stupidities like, “Dude, you gotta see this! Just take a picture. But make sure your flash goes off. Isn’t it cool? Wait, your flash didn’t go off? DO IT AGAIN. Come on. You just don’t get it. No, really. You need to take it AGAIN. AND WITH THE FLASH ON.”

So basically, you become that exasperating girl  in the room (and we all know the type) who asks others to take a million pictures her for their Instagram/Facebook feed, because, you know, her arm pose was slightly off kilter or her duckface wasn’t at its apogee in the previous 52 pictures you captured. I mean, how mental are those types? I can’t with them.

But we’re talking about a killer clutch here so I’m okay being that girl — if for just one reflective moment.
