Wynwood never gets old. With its chameleon-like walls changing minute to minute, there’s always a trove of inspiration here. Last weekend, I was able to snap this picture during a shopping stop at Del Toro Shoes (where I bought a pair of camo loafers for Sebastian for Father’s Day for you nosy types). Just catty-corner of Del Toro, I spotted this sweet (metaphor, people!) mural entitled “50 Cakes of Gay” by the artist, KASHNIK. Upon more snooping around (because this is my forte), I found out that KASHNIK happens to be an activist street artist and decided to paint 50 cakes around the world in support of gay marriage.
From West Hollywood to Blackpool, U.K. to Athens, Greece (whoop, whoop) — you can see all of KASHNIK’s murals here.
Aren’t they so delicious?
Adorable.
loving that mural and your look!
ps: i did give in and bough birkenstocks… or as i call them.. “faux-kenstocks” 😛
