I’m not quite sure who died and made me Lindsay Lohan (minus the penchant for illicit substances) but the husband and I have been painting the town red like nobody’s business. On Thursday night, I attended the new Porsche Design watch release followed by dinner at the never disappointing institution, The Palm. 

Friday night called for a get together with my college besties where we drank one-too-many mojitos and listened to a live band at Ball & Chain. We ate dinner at 12 a.m. (ew!) at River Oyster Bar where the food (especially the salmon rolls and oysters) were crazy good. There’s something to be said about hanging out with old friends — we laughed so much my stomach still hurts.

On Saturday morning I woke up looking like Gary Busey on a bad day (read: bloated, stinky haired and disheveled) but the family and I toured the husband’s project The Porsche Design Tower followed by lunch at Bal Harbour Shops. Afterward I went on the hunt for these strappy black Manolos but seeing as my foot channels that of the behemothic Big Foot, I was shit out of luck. The we-don’t-have-your-size struggle is real, people.

By the evening, I was toast (and my liver was pleading for dear mercy), but we charged on to the 954’s Hyde Beach Kitchen + Cocktails in Hollywood. This place is beyond. The decor is on point (think nautical chic) as is the grub (the miso cod lettuce wraps are so, make me wanna slap yo’ mama).

It’s now Sunday and we plan on hitting the couch hard with the kids — because let’s face it — I can’t handle any more shenanigans! You can follow me on Snapchat (@mariatettamanti) for the play-by-play.
