Step Into My Bedroom…Until My Husband Demands I Delete this Post!

My husband is totally going to kick my ass (not really, you serious types) for posting a picture of our bedroom but it felt like the most appropriate spot to capture this ethereal dress because it exudes lingerie vibes. He’s a private guy whereas I’m clearly game to share anything with the world because I’m like an open book.

So here’s to hoping he doesn’t read this particular post.

This here is a sliver of my cozy bedroom. When dreaming up my budoir’s interior design, I wanted it to feel clean and modern yet warm at the same time. The walls are a light shade of gray (Sherwin Williams’ North Star to be exact) and the furniture is a hodge podge of Tui and Ralph Lauren Home. I’m obsessive about keeping our nightstands bare of tchotchkes and crap (I blame my OCD).

Located right off our bedroom, there’s a sunny porch where I had our fix-it guy paint the ceiling a robin’s egg blue — which is a common trait found in homes in the northeast. It gives me homey feels.

Enjoy this personal bird’s eye view into my Key West-style home. I hope you like it as much as I do! And here’s to hoping it gives you a little design inspo, too.
