The MOST Miami Store Just Opened in Wynwood

Colorful caftans, airy frocks, pom-pom covered tops, bikinis brimming with tassels — for the most Miami (read: beach friendly) women’s and kid’s clothing and accessories, one need only swing by the freshly minted Pitusa boutique. Nestled in Wynwood, the shop’s dizzying array of warm weather wares is the brainchild of Miamian-by-way-of-Britain-and-Spain Clara Lago.

“This opening will not only give shoppers an opportunity for a tangible experience and a chance to purchase one-of-a-kind pieces, but will also serve as a point-of-connection for the brand and the consumers,” Lago tells me.

At first sight, you’ll notice a distinct theme in Lago’s designs — vibrant hues and signature Inca accents. Yummy to the touch, Pitusa garments are culled from Peruvian and Indian cotton. Influenced by European and South American flare, each design are decidedly Miami.

The same goes for the boutique’s dreamy design. Cool mint green floors, white palm tree sculptures, oversized straw chandeliers and a white vintage Porsche (peppered with neon pom-poms, naturally) exude a tropical vibe.

Up for keeps? Straw bags, sundresses, swimsuits, shorts, tops, oversized hats and more. Think of Pitusa as your one-stop-shop to reach the beach — in Instagram sensation style.
