It’s Monday. And I don’t have the brain capacity to write too much this a.m. I blame yesterday’s late-night House of Cards bender combined with consuming far too much crap (I ATE CHEETOS FOR CHRISSAKES!) over the weekend. Funny how when you start eating “clean,” you really start to feel like donkey butt the moment lactose or gluten or a carb hits your lips. Without sounding too The Biggest Loser on you, I feel like I’m finally getting a grasp on the food thing when it comes to a healthier lifestyle — which has always been the hardest aspect for me when it comes to losing weight. You know, I can workout until I’m blue in the face, but the moment a plate of penne pasta presents itself, well, I’m all over it like Solange on Jay-Z in an elevator at a Met Gala after party.
This picture was snapped on Friday (pre Gluttony Fest 2014) and I’m wearing a new go-to summer number by Madewell and a Tory Burch fedora I recently scored at Sawgrass Mills. I’ve always been a sucker for stripes, and this dress’ minimalist design makes it really easy and breezy. It’s foolproof for summertime. And perfect for hiding the current bloating situation going on in my belly!
