This Gloss is Boss

{Robbie lip gloss giveaway!}

Since you clearly didn’t win the Florida Powerball last week (because let’s face it, the LAST place if you won a gazillion-dollar jackpot would be reading my blog — your butt best be popping bottles in St. Tropez or the Maldives by now, duh) — allow me to lift your spirits like only The Wordy Girl can. And that means a Robbie Lip Gloss giveaway! The kind folk over at Miami-based Robbie lip gloss want to hook up one reader with the entire collection (that’s SIX shiny lip glosses — I’m having a Bare color moment as we speak). All you have to do is:

1. Hug someone.

2. Do a little jig. Or the electric slide.

3. Like me on Facebook here.

4. Like Robbie Lip Gloss here.

4. Leave a comment on this post answering the following hard-hitting question commonly found in Miss America pageants: How would you change the world? Most creative wins! Winner picked this Friday.

    In order to change the world we must change ourselves. Through meditation we are able to focus on our breath and find our purpose which is to serve others. When you realize that your breath is a miracle happening without scientific explanation and the only thing keeping us alive is this “breath” you discover that your breath is the same breath you share with someone else. (I trust I didnt lose you, continuing….) This realization continues to point out that we are all the same. As an example, there is no difference between the homeless person and “you”. We are all one sharing this miracle, this life, this breath. Changing the world starts with finding yourself, your “breath”. May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may my words, thoughts and actions contribute to the well-being of others. The world will change with one conscious inhale and exhale at a time. If we all give a smile to each other at least 5 times a day, if we treat others with respect, if we think positive to attract positive. they are all free things we can do to change the world

    As a women there has to be understanding that womens rights are addressed,It is not a good idea to be a follower,Women have to take a stand for there Equility of this earth!We are being run over by the way men treat women.It has to stop here and now.Sharing everything equal,as well as honesty ,with everyone involved in each decsion made.Starting with our expression of Love now and forever.This Is how I would change the World at hand.

    I think in some way I have started to do that already, by starting to teach my children at their young age that we are all special and unique in our own ways. Will teach them the importance of empathy, love, kindness, and respect for the fellow man. That although it is ingrained in this society to judge , it is not right to judge others based on the color of their skin/appearance/disabilities/ religion/ social status/sexual preference. That Empathy is so important, because until you walk in someone else’s shoes you really don’t know what they are going through. That if they are good to others, they should expect to find that in return. That there is no room for mean thoughts and anger in their minds/heart. That the more love and positive energy we spread the better this world would be. So hopefully by planting that little seed in them and hoping that others do the same for their children, we can change the world for the better.

    Geographically I wouldn’t change a thing, I will however continue to inject as much love as possible.

    Would want all children to treat each other with kindness,and accept everyone’s differences then they would grow up being the kind of adults that would make our world a better place for all.
