So I finally caved in to the wedge sneaker trend. I know, I’m totally on Caribbean time with this one BUT procuring a pair of Isabel Marants was akin to scoring a date with Brad Pitt at Prime 112 — so you do the math. So far, here are the responses I received from their first-time wear:

I did just see the knockoffs at Target yesterday. This makes me wonder if the trend has officially died. However, I do like the ones by Ash; they’re a little less “puffy” so to speak.

I like them strictly for the sake of comfort and walking. I like the idea of wearing a comfy sneaker while getting a bit of height. Overall, I’m not a fan of the way they look, but the comfort factor may win on this one.
However, you can definitely pull them off really, really well. This outfit is adorable, and I love the feets in the air picture!

I’ve been wearing my store’s version for the past year now and I adore them but now…I saw a knockoff at Target…I’m like well I haven’t been reaching for them in the past few months and maybe this is why lol.
