I’m an Auction Sniper Dressed in Leopard and Pink, Natch

{Trina Turk top, Current/Elliott jeans, Christian Louboutin pumps, vintage LV clutch, DVF shades.}

Last Monday I was engaged in an all-out, knock-down, I-will-kill-your-first-born eBay battle over a vintage leopard print Stephen Sprouse for LV scarf. I lost. Someone sound the loser alarm. I imagine this sound effect as a cross between a trombone and trumpet with a bullet thrown in for good measure.

Which leads me to my next point, fashion freaks. eBay is your friend — when you win. I buy loads of accessories for less on the site and am damn proud of my frugal finds. Take for instance the vintage LV clutch in the photo above. I spotted it once on my friend Jennifer and immediately logged on to eBay to find one for myself. And I did. For $200. And no, it’s not from some seedy shanty in Chinatown, thank-you-very-much. Victory!

If you don’t want to lose, my pal Erin introduced me to this genius site, auctionsniper.com. They place your bid seconds before the auction closes. And that, my friends, is in the words of the great Charlie Sheen...winning!
