How To Create Beachy Waves (& A Sweet Deal For You)!

You all know how I feel about great hair. Above a fab handbag, beyond a bag of Funyuns, above a night in with a Ladies of London marathon — TANTAMOUNT TO PUBLIX CHICKEN FINGERS (oh yes, I went there) — I love surfer girl beach waves. I mean, if my hair looks good, I can deal with anything. You can quote me on that.

The peeps at NuMe sent me their Magic Wand and let me tell you, I’m loving the results. It’s easy to use, too. All you have to do is:

  1. Take 2-inch sections of hair and spray with hairspray
  2. Wrap said section around the Magic Wand’s barrel AWAY from your face
  3. Hold hair on wand for 10 seconds and voila

A few more tips? I feel like the dirtier the hair, the better the hold. And take messy sections because you don’t want to make it look too perfect. After the curls cool, finger comb and spritz in some texturizing spray or hairspray if needed. And to refrain from burning your hands (practice makes perfect), be sure to use the enclosed heat-protecting glove.

And just in time for the holidays, I have a promo code for you, loyal readers! Use the code  SNOWMAN25 at checkout here and you will receive the Magic Wand for only $35! The original price for this goody is $114 so this is a whopping $124 savings. Happy holidays!
