{My man, Ty}
As you all may know, I’ve partnered with the XFINITY for the Ty So Fast program (whoop whoop!). So I wanted to introduce you all to Ty with a fun Q&A with the dude who’s mantra is: “Easy and quick are two words that describe how I strive to live my life. Life is short and there’s so much to see, do and know — if I can cut a task in half to get to where I want to be, so be it! For me, faster is better. That’s why I’ve been chosen as captain of Team So Fast, brought to you by XFINITY!” Talk about a man on a mission! Without further ado, here’s our chat:
Your name is synonymous with being fast and you’re always on the go. What is your number one tip when it comes to staying ahead of the game? Life hacks! I’m all about keeping up rather than catching up. If I can cut a task in half to get to where I want to be, even better! Shortcuts are always in order for me. The easier the process, the faster I complete it, the more I accomplish.
So, what’s your favorite life hack and why? I’m always on the go, so I need to know when I can book the cheapest airline ticket. There’s nothing better than saving a buck on two on travel. Most people are unaware that Tuesday at 3 p.m. is prime time to book a plane ticket – it’s when the cheapest fares are posted! What app can’t you live without? I’m a huge fan of the XFINITY TV Go app, which lets me watch live TV on any device from anywhere, anytime I want. Plus, I can even download some of my favorite TV shows and movies. And, it goes without saying, but looking for a WiFi hotspot can be a pain. So, I rely on XFINITY WiFi Hotspots which allow me to stay connected and watch my XFINITY TV Go app shows, movies and downloads no matter where I am!
What music are you listening to right now? I’m a fan of all music! From rock to rap, and country to classic – you name it and I’m open. When I’m home, I like to use my XFINITY X1 platform to access a number of online radio stations using the Pandora app straight from my TV. It’s a great way to discover new music!
What are you obsessed with? You know, I’ve been really into street art lately. I recently visited The Wynwood Walls, and loved getting to see the different artwork. It helped me discover a genre that is still relatively under appreciated. During my travels, I’ve noticed that street art tends to incorporate the essence of the different cultures that are unique to each city. Miami really does well to embrace creativity and platform local artists. I’m pumped for Art Basel this year!
