Chanel Foundation Feelings

When it comes to makeup foundation, I am an Armani and Koh Gen Do devotee. For a complete list of my makeup repertoire, click here. However, word on the street is I must try the Chanel Les Bieges Water-Fresh Tint (for days I want light coverage) and Chanel Sublimage L’Essence de Teint (for when I want a full coverage). Well, I was just at Brickell City Centre and popped into the Chanel Beauty store and bought both because… YOLO. Plus, tomorrow is Mother’s Day and Imma treat myself!

This is NOT an ad — but I am loving the Sublimage formulation a lot better than Armani and Koh Gen Doh because it is dewier than both products. But L’Essence de Teint and Sublimage serve different purposes. The added bonus? Both come with application brushes but I’ll still be using my moist Beauty Blender and fingertips, natch.

Les Bieges ($65) is your every day foundation — very light coverage and airy on the skin. I bought shade Medium Plus. It exudes a gel texture and pigmented micro-droplets that create a radiant, healthy-looking glow. It reminds me a lot of my Ilia SPF drops.

The Sublimage, on the other hand, is pricey AF ($150) and I bought shade B40. It definitely covers all of my of discoloration with aplomb and is a solid full-coverage foundation. If you desire a matte finish, this one isn’t for you as it emanates a dewy glow. I love a luminous lewk!

So if you’re in the market for some new foundation, here are my thoughts on both of these new formulas.
