Brow lamination ($200) chemically changes the way the hairs lie on your face. Here’s how the perm-like process works: Break the hair’s keratin bond, neutralize to prevent further breakage, then moisturize. This process takes 30 minutes and Allison tells me they should last six weeks with a little help of applying castor oil to keep them from drying out. Hello, feathery, fluffy-looking brows!
The keratin lash lift ($250), on the other hand, is a wonderful way to give the illusion of eyelash extensions. This “perm for your lashes” takes about 40 minutes and should last six weeks, too. Be warned: You cannot wet your eyes and brows for 24 hours after the treatment.
The end result? WOW brows and lashes.
