Freaks! I’m back from a week in Italy (5 pounds heavier and proud!) and while I’m super jet lagged, bloated and royally annoyed with the 3,234 emails in my inbox, I feel like dilly-dallying (shocker) and updating le blog BECAUSE I’M A PROFESSIONAL PROCRASTINATOR.
These pics were snapped in the Miami Design District — the Fendi boutique and OTL restaurant to be exact. I’ve been DYING to shoot against the orange backdrop and finally got around to it. Don’t you just love it? So dramatic and punch-y and FUN. Kinda like me.
For those of you who follow me on Instagram stories, I’ve taken up running again. As you may already know, I have a love/hate relationship with jogging because I feel as though I’m going to keel over and die every time I hit the pavement, but afterwards I feel so damn ALIVE. And my mood is improved thanks to all those natural endorphins coursing through my veins. Plus, I love the way my skin glows after a solid 40-minute jog through my hood. And…I love being nosy (like my mom) and checking out the new homes in the area. JUDGE!
So what motivated me, you ask? Saggy ass aside, my little brother took a gander at my activity level on my iPhone (yeah, that’s apparently a thing) and told me I was waaaaaaay too sloth-like and need TO GET IT TOGETHER before I die due to a lack of cardio like one of those unfortunate contestants you see on The Biggest Loser.
So I am.
