Beauty, Blooms & 10 Simple Pleasures

Peonies and dummy-proof beauty goods: These are a few of my favorite things. It’s been a while since I posted my latest beauty obsessions so here goes, my cyber children! Right now, I’m loving  easy-to-use Bobbi Brown makeup (because I’m awful at doing my own makeup and my homegirl Bobbi get this notion right when creating her collections), the new state-of-the-art T3 hair blowdryer (literally cuts any blowout length in half the amount of time) and Sun Bum shampoo & conditioner (because their coconut scent makes me b-a-n-a-n-a-s). These new get-glam discoveries are right up there with the following 10 simple pleasures which make me feel good instantly:

1. Cleaning the wax from my ears with a Q-tip. Can you say, “relief”?
2. Popping the life out of a bubble sheet. Snap! Crackle! Pop!
3. Sleeping in a freshly made bed. Do you know Oprah has her sheets changed every day for this decadent sensation? NOW YOU KNOW. Don’t say I never taught you anything!
4. Serendipitously stumbling upon a Saks shoes sale. Can you say, “Aquzurras, please?”
5. Waking up before the alarm and realizing there’s more time to sleep. Um, winning!
6. That new car smell
7. When my kids say, “I love you” to me out of the clear-blue sky
8. Feeling the sun on my face and being totally okay with the fact it’s ruining my Botox
9. Bacon on a Sunday morning because that vegan life is not for me
10. A shower with great water pressure is LIFE. You freaks know what I’m talking about!
