Whip This Up: Strawberries, Cream & Meringue

Is there any dessert more refreshing than strawberries and cream? That was a rhetorical question, obviously. My mother-in-law adds crushed meringues to this recipe making it totally bananas. 

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 a package of chopped strawberries

a handful of crushed meringues 

1 pint of heavy whipping cream

dash of vanilla extract

dash of powdered sugar

PREPARATION:

In a mixing bowl, add the heavy whipping cream, sugar and vanilla extract. Beat with an electrical mixer until desired consistency. Once whipped cream is ready, add strawberries and crushed meringues. Enjoy!
