When I’m pressed for time (hello? erry damn day!), I whip out my Crock-Pot like the basic B I am and make my fave — turkey chili. I made a batch earlier today because I was helping dad run some errands and this particular recipe is easy AF. Here goes…
1 pound of ground turkey OR chicken OR beef
1 package McCormick Chili Seasoning Mix
1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained OR 2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
Throw all of the above in the Crock-Pot and you’re done by the time you get home from running around town! OR place all of the above ingredients in a pot and cook on low until all the flavors meld together. I like to top mine with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese.
