Now trending? Orange matte lips are the absolutely new cool thing. Cameron Diaz, in particular, rocks this off-the-beaten lip hue with aplomb. The reddish color brightens up the face and makes everyone think you’re a happy girl. Another pre-fall trend of the 2014 is the windswept updo. Seeing as the month of August has been sweltering, well, wearing your hair up a must. And the windswept up-dos are easy to do: Just pony tail your hair, pin, twist, tuck and that’s it. Your easy breezy hairstyle is done!
Orange lips aside, skin should look natural. Yes, the au naturale look is back and ironically calls for more makeup and talent, but the result is always oh la la. The natural color of your lips is always in style and your skin tone is your best tone. Plain and simple.
In terms of hair trends, be a braid-y lady. Search YouTube for free braid tutorials and using the words “rumpled braids.” Even if you spend half an hour playing with your hair, the braid gives you an effortless look. Romantic and chic, rumpled braids are flirty and feminine.
If you enjoy playing with makeup, give pastel eyeshadows a go. Let the sophisticated colors, change your image and avoid looking cheesy. Try a pastel shade that fits you the best and leave the boring eyeliner behind. So, if you’re a trendy girl who wants to look current and nice, choose these styles and combine them with your personality in your own way. Because individuality it’s always in trend and the orange lips together with windswept hairstyle will look good on you, only if you’ll do it according to your own style rules.
