On Wearing Whack Prints and Givenchy’s Latest Beauty Beat

When I spotted this dress, the crazy-neon-floral print shouted I’M A GOOD TIME. And since I’m indeed a blast in a glass (props to Dina from The Jersey Shore for that wordy gem), I had to make it mine. This frock got its veritable first-time wear today at a Givenchy Beauty luncheon over at Soho House.  The lovely gals at the Patton Group invited me for a media preview of the label’s latest cruise collection and new mascara, Noir Couture. Note to you makeup junkies: This three-ball-wand mascara is CRAY but the aha! goody in the collection is a clear lip gloss called Le Gloss Revelateur de Liv which changes color according to one’s PH. Think mood ring for the lips, if that makes any sense. Which it doesn’t, but you get the idea. Beauty booty aside,  I was très obsessed with the pink peonies and hand-written personalized menus below — totes perfection.
