Growing up in a Greek household, Easter was hands down my favorite holiday. My mother would painstakingly dye Easter eggs the Hellenic way — with food coloring, panty hose and fresh-cut flowers (I know, what a visual, but more on that in April) — and I would watch in eager anticipation as to what designs and colors would develop. We would color eggs in bold reds and light pinks — but it’s the pastel colors that have always piqued my interest. I’m totes obsessed with pastels. Especially in nail polish form.
So when I noticed that this spring trends point toward not only rocking colored jeans, but pastel-colored jeans, I was ecstatic. From soft lilacs to robin’s egg blues — the Easter Bunny is making an early appearance this year. And this makes my heart smile.
