Cook This: Cheesesteak Sweet Potato

One thing about me: This Jersey girl loves a cheesesteak. So think of this cheesesteak sweet potato recipe as the greatest gluten-free option on this Philadelphia staple.

INGREDIENTS:

1 container of mushrooms

1 package of shaved beef steak

4 sweet potatoes

Cheese of your liking (White American, cheddar or mozzarella work)

PREPARTION:

Heat oven to 350 degrees and bake the sweet potatoes for an hour/hour and a half. Set aside. Next, slice the mushrooms. In a frying pan, add olive oil and cook mushrooms until golden. Season with garlic salt. Add shaved beef steak and cook until brown. Now, slice each sweet potato down the middle and smother in meat-and-mushroom mixture. Coat with cheese and bake until cheese bubbles. Enjoy!
