{Color coordinated books? Um, YES.}
I always knew my crony Dani had inherent quirky tastes — she rocked a pixie cut in middle school, listed to The Pixies when the rest of us had MC Hammer on blast, painted a vivid under-the-sea mural on her bedroom walls when she was in ELEMENTARY SCHOOL….I could go on and on. Dani is just a brilliant-and-offbeat-ahead-oh-her-times type of gal. Basically, she’s awesome squared. You know, something that is so awesome, that in order to comprehend its awesomeness, you must multiply it by itself.
So when I moseyed through her home the other day, I stopped dead in my tracks when I spotted these bookshelves where she color coordinated each book’s spine into a gradation of colors. How cool is this doesn’t-cost-a-thing interior design element? Awesome squared, I know. Just like Dani.
That’s really cute!
She also reports it takes FOREVER! Ahhhhhhh.
Plz relay to dani that evan dando is doing a concert in Miami on Oct 28th.
Definitely awesome squared. I just shared Ginger Harris’s recent post about two new bookstores in the area with a friend (I think we’ll go check them out next week). Seems like a book worm is making his way though Miami this week.
