Reese Witherspoon‘s book club (follow it on the ‘Gram via @HelloSunshine) nails it once again with its November pick, The Other Woman by Sandie Jones. I ate this thriller up in one week because… who doesn’t love a villain in the shape of a sexagenarian mother-in-law? YES.
The premise? Adam seems like the perfect catch — until Emily discovers Adam has a pretty big catch himself: Pammie, his meddlesome widowed mum with whom he seems hopelessly enmeshed. As Emily becomes painfully aware, her adversary will stop at nothing to split up the couple (including faking a breast cancer diagnosis). Next level cray, I know.
