{Equipment blouse available here, Miss Sixty mini skirt, Jimmy Choo Abel suede and metallic pumps available here, Be & D belt, Oakley Frogskin sunnies, Chanel tote and pearls}
Whenever I’m in an uninspired fashion slump (and this quandary occurs quite regularly as a mother of two), my go-to uniform is a silky Equipment blouse complimented by a pair of IT heels. These Choos were recently gifted to me by the husband because my close friend/Jimmy Choo Sales Associate Maria Houck texted me a picture of the newest Abel-style above and our correspondence went like this:
MARIA H.: Maria, these Choos have your name written all over them.
ME: I die and do I spy metallic and suede ombré with a POINTY TOE?
MARIA H.: Duh.
ME: Text these puppies to the boss man. STAT. Mother’s Day is upon us…
And voila! Maria H. sealed the deal with le husband. She’s a rockstar, I tell you.
Which leads me to my next shopping tip: Become friends with the sales peeps at your fave stores — whether it be a small boutique to a huge retail giant. Give them your email or cell number as they will always feed you priceless information from sales details to new items you have to own. So this post is for you, Maria H. You’re brilliant.

Mariella, I’m so excited for you to move to the DD…you don’t even know:)
So pretty- that’s why all the shirtless beefcakes want to be your friends. Does that blouse need dry cleaning?
