Forget a Ring — Put a Monogram On It

{Inside this so-cute-I-don’t-want-to-ruin-it-packaging is my latest jewelry purchase}

{A Jordann Jewelry Magnolia Enamel Charm}

A wise woman — okay Reese Witherspoon — once said, “My sheets are monogrammed, so is my silverware and pretty much everything else I own. My rule is, if it is not moving, monogram it.” And she is so right. Here is my latest jewelry purchase in the shape of a gorgeous magnolia flower with an MTA monogram, natch.

I bought it here after a Miami Herald colleague sent me a press release stating Gabrielle Union sports one in red as a lucky charm in honor of her man, Dwyane Wade. Being the psychotic shopaholic I am, I immediately ordered one (there are so many cute colors to choose from, too!)  thinking the company’s website would crash and burn once The Miami Heat won the NBA championship due to an apocalyptic amount of purchase orders from freaks (like me) looking for a good talisman that actually works. I mean, doesn’t everyone want good juju around their neck? Of course.

{This charm, along with Wade, Lebron, Bosh and the rest of the gang, is the reason Miami won the NBA finals}
