IT Girl Stats: Tinsley Mortimer

If there ever was a definition of an every-hair-in-its-place woman, it’s Tinsley Mortimer. Tinsley owns the closet every woman would dream about raiding, the beyond compare blonde ‘do and she plays a mean game of tennis (read: jealous!). The New York socialite recently added “author” to her resume with her debut novel Southern Charm. I’ve had the pleasure of hanging with Tinsley in Southampton and am pleased to report — she’s even sweeter than Splenda in person. She’s the kind of gal that goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and at ease — and yes, even Tins kicks sweatpants when feeling schleppy at home. In fact, that’s precisely what she was wearing when we hung out. Without further ado, here are 13 things you don’t know about Tinsley Mortimer:

I love vanilla cake batter

I don’t like to carry handbags even though I design them

My favorite hat is a camo Chevy baseball cap

I like to be photographed on my left side

I have my dogs’ names tattooed on my wrist

I love wearing Converse

I think flip flops are disgusting

Interior design is my favorite thing to do

I am obsessed with foo dogs for your home, C. Wonder has great ones for under $60 a set at cwonder.com

I sometimes sleep with fake lashes on

When I am out my favorite cocktail is HPNOTIQ Harmonie and champagne (renamed in honor of my book, Southern Charm

{A modern Manhattan fairy tale with the sparkle of a champagne cocktail, Tinsley ‘s debut novel provides a delicious peek into her world of society, fashion and big-city fame.}
