Happy Mother’s Day and a Floral Arrangement that Doesn’t Suck at Life

Happy Mother’s Day to those of you brave enough to get pregnant, be miserable for 9 months and basically give up your sanity from there on. It’s the damn truth! And don’t even get me started on the weight gain. But I’m not going to lie, my kids offer a wealth of laughs, happiness and love. I’m celebrating Mother’s Day with the family in lovely North Carolina but right before I hopped on my flight, the folks at Plant the Future hand-delivered this beauty. And it made my day. I’m a huge fan of gifting others presents that don’t die (like ubiquitous roses and the like) so this prezzy seems so apropo for me. Plant the Future’s arrangements are showstopping conversation pieces and the best part? They don’t croak, wilt or get stinky. Maintaining these terrariums are no sweat, too — all you’ve got to do is give the little buggers lots of sunlight and spritz ’em with water. Now if only kids required such easy operating instructions.
