Cook This: Gnocchi Alfredo

Put the store-bought jar down — my easy Alfredo sauce will make you a homemade sauce believer. The best part? It requires just three ingredients. Yep, you read that right. I serve my Alfredo sauce alongside Mamma Emma mini gnocchi which requires zero boiling as it cooks in the simmering sauce. I buy mine at Milam’s supermarkets.

INGREDIENTS:

3 pads of butter (about half a stick)

2 cups of heavy whipping cream

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

PEPARATION:

To start this simple sauce, first heat the butter over medium heat in a saucepan. Once the butter has melted fully, add in the heavy cream and stir. Cook the simmering cream for about 5 to 10 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, whisking constantly, until sauce is smooth and creamy. Mangia!
