Biohackers, listen up: Centner Wellness offers a spate of healing modalities. With three locations in Miami (Edgewater, Brickell and the Gables), I highly recommend this high-tech Zen den for those of you — like moi — on a wellness journey.
I recently visited the facility located at 2333 Brickell Avenue in Miami, Florida and you can think of it as THE premiere state-of-the-art holistic wellness spot in the 305. Spanning 15,000-square-feet (woah!), the space boasts one of the country’s most extensive arrays of technologies and treatments. Clientele can find nutritional coaching, advanced functional medicine testing, and over 30 science-backed treatments and services that optimize the body for health and longevity.
These cutting-edge devices utilize frequency, oxygen and scalar waves. These include sought-out devices such as the Ammortal Chamber (photographed above), Hocatt, 40-unit Energy Enhancement (EE) System, VEMI, HyberT Pro and Theta Chamber, as well as ancient modalities such as sauna and acupuncture. Many of these work synergistically to support the body’s natural ability to heal via stress reduction, detoxification and cellular regeneration.
Personally speaking, I enjoyed a 30-minute session in the Theta Chamber. This is a futuristic-looking pod that helps users reduce stress and regain balance. It gently spins using vestibular motion, binaural beats, light patterns, microcurrent and cranial-electrotherapy stimulation. The Theta Chamber quickly gets the user into a profoundly relaxing theta brainwave state (3.5-6.75 Hz), the same state practiced meditators can take years to achieve. Talk about relaxing!
Many of the treatments incorporate red light, which can increase mitochondrial output, stimulate the immune system, improve cognitive function, decrease pain and improve joints. Red light also has aesthetic benefits such as improved collagen production, hair growth and skin tone.
The facility focuses on oxygenating the body with three Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chambers, including a pressurized room where five can take the air together in comfy loungers. Further ways to increase 02 saturation include INNER-Breath Molecular Hydrogen Water System, detoxification treatments such as EBO2 extracorporeal ozone, and pH Prescription Water, which removes 99.99% of all contaminants and infuses water with hydrogen. The hydrogen water is available to drink and is used to take colonics, facials and foot detox treatments to the next level.
