Greetings from glorious Cape May, New Jersey! The kids and I squeezed in one more trip back to my hometown to visit my mom, dad, sister and brother and to eat our weight in Philly cheesesteak hoagies, obvi. While we were away, our guinea pig, Cookie, gave birth to three babies. The catch? Well, we thought Cookie was a baby herself when we bought her from Pet Supermarket two months ago. Someone get Cookie an episode on I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant. STAT.
Anyhoo, can we talk Real Housewives for a second? While I’m not surprised Countess (well, former Countess) Luanne is getting divorced after a mere 8 months of marriage… I am shocked — you know what I mean? Like, WTF. I have a sneaking suspicion the demise of her matrimony will play on on the next season of the show. #TheSuspenseIsKillingMe
Which leads me to my next television discovery… Mommy Dead and Dearest on HBO. Anyone who truly knows me knows that I’m a huuuge Dateline fan and a lover of the macabre. With this said, this creepy-ass documentary about the murder of a mother with Munchausen Syndrome is the thing of nightmares. Watch it and thank me later
