I’ve joined the cult of fancy body soaps (and there’s no turning back). Because let’s all face it — we’re all bathing a lot these days so why shouldn’t it be an experience that makes us feel rich? Exactly.
When I lather up a bar of Le Labo’s Santal, Glossier or Mistral almond milk, an experience of olfactory escapism ensues — I’m whisked away to another world free of virtual learning, cooking, Zoom calls, cleaning and that all-too-familiar feeling of Groundhog Dog. Smelling fresh as a rose is the added bonus. As a beauty editor, I’ve tried them all but this is the holy trilogy of bar soaps. So consider this trifecta of luxe soaps worth every damn penny spent.
