My Sana Facial Experience

My pores are so happy today. Yes, that’s a thing now. You see, I haven’t indulged in a facial since way before quarantine, so you can only imagine how delightful my visit to freshly minted clean beauty Sana skin studio (hooray for alliteration!) in art-swathed Wynwood was yesterday. My oily T-Zone has been begging to be extracted for months and my rosacea is in full force because I’ve been exercising outdoors throughout Covid, which generally makes my mug reddish in color. Ew, I know.

With this said, I was invited into Sana for their Signature 50-minute Facial ($95). In terms of Corona Virus safety precautions, my temperature was taken before the service and my aesthetician Lana properly wore a mask throughout the entire treatment.

Now let’s talk about the on-brand ambience. Set amongst neutral colors, modern furniture and natural stone accents, the sun-filled space in Wynwood oozes a decidedly groovy feel. Sana uses and sells all-natural-yet-highly-active products from clean beauty brands such as Naturopathica, Pai, Lesse and Agent Nateur. Wielding a two-sided blackhead extractor device, Lana excavated every clogged pore with the precision of Dr. Pimple Popper.

The end result? Taut pores, glowy skin and all the positive vibes self care brings with it. #Blessed
